HANDLING, CLEANING

STONES

Stone jewelry is quite easy to handle, you can clean it with a fine damp cloth and then wipe it dry. When wearing them, you have to be careful not to hit them or drop them because the stones are fragile and unfortunately we cannot accept complaints of this kind. Please note that stones with a rougher surface can cause fluffing on delicate fabrics.

WOOD

The wood can also be cleaned with a damp cloth, do not expose it to water, fire or high temperatures because it will be damaged. do not store it in a damp place and do not expose it to impact or sharp objects. From time to time, you can gently wipe it with a wood furniture cleaner.

SILVER

Silver oxidizes and darkens over time. A chemical silver cleaning cloth or liquid suitable for cleaning is available in stores. During their use, care must be taken to clean jewels encrusted with stones or glued stones, because certain stones become dull from the chemical, and if the glue softens, the stones may come off. Carefully wipe the jewelry with the silver cleaner. Finally, when we are done, wipe the chemical off the jewelry with a soft, dry cloth. This is important because if you leave it on, the jewelry can easily get stained. However, it is forbidden to clean the silver jewelry with objects with a rough surface, brush, or scouring agent, because they can leave scratches in the material! Silver jewelry can be protected from oxidation by wrapping it in a soft material, handkerchief, or scarf when not being worn. Under no circumstances should you store silver jewelry in plastic bags, because they retain moisture and promote the oxidation process! If we only rub it with a polishing cloth often, after almost every wear, we never have to use chemical cleaning.
